Today I would like to share with you an easy nail art design using water based nail polish. If you get board of wearing just a solid color of water based nail polish, an easy way to jazz up your mani or pedi is with nail art. You don’t have to be a nail tech or an artist to do nail art, some designs are very quick and simple.
To get the look shown above, start by painting your nails with a creme finish water based nail polish. Then add dots in a contrasting color, starting at the base of your nail and working towards the tips. To add the dots, use a toothpick dipped in nail polish. I always start by cutting the tip off the toothpick, to leave a nice flat circle at the end. To make consistent sized dots, apply nail polish to the toothpick between each dot and only slightly touch the toothpick to your nail. After the dots have dried apply a clear top coat.
This easy nail art design only takes a few minutes more than painting your nails with a single color of water based nail polish, but it really adds to the manicure!
What is your favorite simple nail art design?
This nail design is amazing! Use pink for the bottom, and use red for the dots
